At The Nihon Ken Shop, we take pride in providing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our print-on-demand approach means that every item is custom-made for you when you order, which is what makes The Nihon Ken Shop possible. This allows us to offer a wider variety of unique designs for Nihon Ken enthusiasts while reducing waste and staying flexible with our offerings.

We encourage you to carefully check product details and sizing charts before ordering to ensure you get the perfect fit. While we generally can’t accept returns due to buyer’s remorse or incorrect sizing, we’re all about making sure you’re happy with your experience. If you’d like to talk about returning an item, reach out to us—we’ll do our best to help, even if we can’t guarantee a free return.

Right of Withdrawal

If you’re a customer in the EU/EEA (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without needing to provide a reason. This withdrawal period starts from the day you receive your item, or from the day you receive the last item in the case of multiple packages. If you choose to exercise this right, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item in its original, unused condition. Fill out our withdrawal form and send it to orders@nihonkenshop.com.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’re truly sorry. Here’s how to get it sorted:

  1. Reach Out Quickly: Email us at orders@nihonkenshop.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. Send Us Photos: Attach clear photos of the item showing the damage or error. This helps us understand the problem and speeds up the solution.
  3. What We’ll Do: Once we confirm the issue, we’ll offer:
    • Replacement: A new item sent to you at no extra cost.
    • Refund: A full refund to your original payment method.

Smaller Issues

Sometimes, products might arrive with minor imperfections that are within the expected range of print-on-demand manufacturing but may still feel significant to you. While these issues may not be covered by law, we believe in going the extra mile for our customers. If you receive an item that isn’t damaged or defective but still doesn’t meet your expectations, please reach out to us at orders@nihonkenshop.com.

We’re here to make things right and want you to love what you ordered. In such cases, we’ll likely be able to offer a partial refund or a discount on a future purchase. Your satisfaction matters to us, and we’ll do our best to find a solution that leaves you happy.
